Back to the FUTURE

Red and white, that’s all you need. Super fresh candy cane, pretty much a new obsession for me. Urban Outfitters has the sickest Nike's i’ve seen in a corporate shop for a while. "Nike Vintage Terminator Hi" ($100), can't get much more old school than these. They come out of the box looking like you've had them since '82! A broken-in look with no work by you, and a pretty slick name for a sneaker.

Yes, I thought I was in love with the “Terminator”, than my new fav brand, M.O.B. who did the Fafi print awhile back, came out with a pair of kicks with Reebok that are just raw. Normally, I’m not big on the whole kiss print but I love these shoes enough to kiss ‘em like that. Maybe the inspiration?! Who knows but I only see funkier stuff coming out of this brand, ridiculous!

You can have your peppermint patty fun sneakers but might as well go as old school as possible...enter the vintage jersey tee. Thank you forever 21, here's a good basic shirt that works with all and is only $13.80.

How great is it that now you don’t have to go to thrift stores to find genuinely original pieces. Convenient, but I still like the game of thrifting.

Doughnuts/Donuts

Nike heads have to get this shirt. Plain and simple, it represents the classics and has recognizable advertising that's got good taste.

Classic Gold

Summer is solid heat right now in South Florida! It's no problem to wear simple tanks in your wardrobe but the look can give an oh-so white trash appeal if it’s a daily habit. Making the wife-beater tank your staple choice creates the Joe Dirt style that you don’t want to get stuck on. A solution to this dilemma is classic gold. Get a gold necklace that'll add character to your clothes with a 14K appearance - no need to go out and buy the real product, I know money is tight right now, just make sure it’s not too Gumby gold (i.e. fake gold that turns your skin green).

Two ill pieces that fit the description are from chain store JimmyZ. There's not too many of these corporate shops around but that's what makes it classic. To find a JimmyZ is like a pot of gold…if you discover one, buy in bulk, they’re sure to please your street style.

The DOPE necklace & 14" rope chain tighten up your style in seconds and don’t break your budget (less than $20 each):

H&M NYC=MIA

I wish there was an H&M in Florida, at least in Miami, cmon! I found the most tropical, South Beach swimsuits in New York City. The designers seem to be inspired by the vibe and feel Florida gives off. Here are two prints out of a million H & M had to offer:

This print is pure flamingo, palm frawn Miami. There's about 2 different style for each bathing suit - tops; bikini or strapless, and bottoms; wide cut and string tie.

A bit reminiscent to a bowl of Fruity pebbles but I love the chain idea, again. Color choices are great for the contrast of a black background, which is the way to go for a good tan.

And guess what, all these suits are $9.90! Separates, yes, but where else can you find a whole swimsuit for less than twenty bucks! Sorry to say but H&M doesn't have an online store :( the only way is to go in person to one of their shops.
